There are two lady’s bible studies available to women and teen girls here at the Trumbull church of Christ.
Tuesday mornings, twice a month there is a bible study that meets by (Zoom) at 9:30am and is lead by Lisa and Mary Lou Saracino. This is a precious group of most of our senior women who walk with much wisdom as they guide the younger women. They engage in rich study and discussion about the scriptures.
These women are very active with outreach, encouraging others with a card ministry, visits to shut-ins, and efforts of love. The second Saturday of the month from 10am-Noon, the women all rotate leading these monthly bible studies. This group of teens, Moms and grandmothers have studied from the bible, using WOW (Women Opening the Word) by Casandra Martin as one of our most recent guides. The discussions take our relationships to a deep level within the scriptures, and we have truly tasted a piece of heaven growing in Jesus. There is nothing like leaning on your sisters in Christ to help you get through the challenges of this life. Our ladies put forth a lot of work in coordinating care packages to our students who are away at college; Thanksgiving baskets for the sick and families in need; hosting and attending ladies retreats, a Secret Prayer Sister activity which culminated in a prayer walk, and more. Women of all ages are welcome to attend.
